The National Bank of Cambodia organized a meeting with audit firms on 30th August 2023 to disseminate and discuss on 2 Prakas: i/-Prakas on Regulatory Capital in Deposit-taking Banks and Financial Institutions and ii/-Prakas on Credit Risk for Capital Adequacy Ratios in Deposit-taking Banks and Financial Institutions, that are part of the capital adequacy ratios framework in deposit-taking banks and financial institutions. This meeting was presided over by Mr. Em Kamnan, Deputy Director General of Banking Supervision of the National Bank of Cambodia, with a total number of 25 participants from 11 firms accredited as external auditors for the banks and financial institutions. This meeting was held after the National Bank of Cambodia provided 8 trainings on these two Prakas to all deposit-taking banks and financial institutions.
