On 18th September, 2018, the National Bank of Cambodia and VISA signed a memorandum of understanding for continued partnership on initiatives to improve the financial literacy of Cambodians, starting with the launch of a new financial literacy app. This event was organized at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra Hotel with the honorary presence of Her Excellency CHEA Serey, Assistant Governor and Director General of the National Bank of Cambodia. The National Bank of Cambodia and VISA will continue their partnership in the campaign to strengthen financial inclusion and to promote financial knowledge to Cambodian people of all ages. This mobile app is a source of financial literacy, available on both Google Play and App Store for free. The National Bank of Cambodia has set out the target of promoting financial literacy to general public, especially young people from primary to upper secondary level.
